Airport Master Planning: In 2000, the FAA requested that the City of Riverton update their Master Plan, which was then approximately eight years old. The City of Riverton selected Washington Group as their planning consultant with James Gores and Associates, as their Wyoming subconsultant. In that role, our firm compiled and analyzed locally available data on a number of planning elements. Some of these included commercial enplanements, number and category of operations, local economic and demographic statistics, evaluation of local facilities, review of the airport’s equipment fleet, evaluation of FBO services, climate data, and several other similar local elements.
James Gores and Associates then assisted Washington Group in compiling and writing the Airport Master Plan update. We worked on several facets of the Capital Improvements Plan (CIP), assisted in updating the Airport Layout Plan set (ALP), evaluated the fuel facilities and numerous other items of the Master Plan.
Our firm served as liaison with the Riverton Airport Board and represented the planning team in all public meetings and hearings.
The Master Plan Update was completed within budget and on schedule.
