At James Gores and Associates we believe in designing roads with safety as a priority while keeping the cost to the client at minimum. We design to AASHTO standards to ensure safety requirements are met.
Engineering services for road projects include:
Field Reconnaissance:This includes reviewing the road for items of concern and improvements desired. We will note methods of rehabilitation suitable to extend the life of the pavement instead of redoing the entire road.
Surveying: Control surveys, existing centerline survey, topographical survey, utilities survey, and surface features. From this data we create base maps and perform a storm water runoff analysis as well as prepare the preliminary project design plans.
Bidding Assistance:We provide this service to assist the owner in obtaining a qualified contractor at a minimum price.
Construction Monitoring: This service is provided to assure the client that their road project is built to the utmost standard of care.
